We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to support daily accounting and administrative operations in a busy office environment. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining organized records, and contributing to a collaborative team. The ideal candidate is accurate, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality support across accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
- Reconcile account balances and help resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for internal review.
- Respond to routine inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal team members.
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks related to accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar business software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Customer service experience in a professional office setting.
